Chromotherapy hits Pimp my Ride

We were recently featured on MTV's Pimp My Ride UK Series 2, Episode 10. The car 'Pimped' was a 1979 Volkswagon Pick Up (photos below).

We supplied a space saving Whirlpool Corner Bath to use as a Hot Tub, which was placed on the back of the truck. The tub was fitted with Colour Changing Chromotherapy Jets, more information about all the features can be found below.

What we did!

Pimp My Ride contacted us in August asking for our assistance with 'Pimping' a Volkswagon Pick Up truck for one of their programs on MTV and Channel 5. We supplied them with one of our space saving Corner Whirlpool Baths which they fitted to the back of the VW Pickup and used as a Hot Tub.

The bath was fitted with a total of 17 Jets, made up of 6 Colour Changing Chromotherapy Jets (Below), 5 Back Microjets and 4 Feet Microjets.

The bath was later modified by the Pimp My Ride Team to run off a generator. It is the focal point of the whole vehicle, with the Colour Changing Chromotherapy Jets taking the limelight!

Chromotherapy, sometimes called colour therapy, light therapy or colourology, is based on the premise that certain colours are infused with healing energies. The therapy uses the seven colours of the rainbow to promote balance and healing in the mind and body.

Our chromotherapy lights sit in your bath and cycle gently through the spectrum of colours in order to provide an all round therapeutic effect.
